Dr Larry Gershowitz

Having completed his medical training at the University of Stellenbosch in 1989, Dr Gershowitz worked for two years at Groote Schuur Hospital.


He then went on to become a National Medical associate for Glaxo Pharmaceuticals in Gauteng before returning to Cape Town to start his own pharmaceutical business. After selling the business he joined Dr Ress in mid-1998 and after extensive training is now fully qualified in the field of surgical hair restoration. Dr Gershowitz and Dr Ress are now full partners in Medical Hair Restoration Clinic SA.

Dr Gershowitz has attended many overseas Live Surgery workshops in Orlando, Florida and also attends the Annual International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS).
He performs his own procedures and also works closely with Dr Ress on all the surgical procedures and
Medical Hair Restoration has become the leaders in the field of hair transplantation in South Africa and certainly is ranked amongst the best Hair Restoration clinics in the world.
