Dr Helen Muir

Dr Muir qualified at Stellenbosch University medical school in 1982, after which she spent her houseman year at Edendale Hospital in KZN. She then worked in the Dept of Endocrinology at TBH until 1991, doing Basic Science and Clinical Research on DM, Osteoporosis and Toxicity of Vit A on Bone. Two of her papers were published locally and one in ENDOCRINOLOGY and she also presented papers at local Congresses.

The period from 1991 to 1998 found her in private practice. She studied Homeopathy and started Integrative Medical Practice in 1998.

Dr Muir now has a special interest in Treatment of Cancer and Hormonal Problems with Intergrative Medical approach. She is passionate about nutrition, supplementation, water quality and helping patients develop themselves spiritually, emotionally and physically.
